Recovered from silver etchings found near the Hollow of Mournlight, this verse describes a bloom that awakens where silence deepens into song. The ring born from it is said to hum faintly when worn—an echo of the flower’s living pulse.
There he found it—
a ring wrought from the roots of sleep,
silvered and alive,
still warm with the whisper of the flower that birthed it.
He placed it upon his hand,
and the night recognized him.

beneath the swelter of moons half-mad,
and the darkling roots of forgotten spring.
Its petals are woven of dusk and wing,
a shimmer of sorrow the stars once had.

The Dreamwalker hums the gloam’s soft ring,
his breath all silver, his pulse all sad,
and the darkling roots of forgotten spring.
He kneels where the stillborn echoes cling,
the air turned honey, the shadows glad.

He slips it on—ah, the heart takes wing,
its beat grown wild in the dreamer’s cad.

Now night is his crown and time his king,
its petals pulse where the world goes mad.
